The Kirksville Area Chamber of Commerce, Governmental Affairs Committee will be hosting the “State of the County Address” on Friday, February 17th at 8 a.m. at the Adair County Annex Building (300 N. Franklin).  This is part of the Chamber’s “The Government In Focus – TGIF” series.

 The Adair County Commission has been invited, along with officials and board members from the Adair County Health Department, Adair County Ambulance District, Twin Pines Adult Care Center, Adair County Public Library, Senate Bill 40, Adair County Sheriff’s Department and Adair County Public Water Supply District to address attendees and the media in regard to their accomplishments in 2011 and their plans for 2012.

 Attendees are welcome to ask questions of the speakers.  The event will last no longer than one hour, in order for business people and attendees to return to work. 

 The event is free of charge and refreshments will be served from 7:30 – 8 am.
