GlowWorms Family Story Time will be held on Tuesday evenings at 6 – 6:30 PM. Families with young children, ages 2 thru grade2, can join Mrs. B and A. T. Still University students Dr. Jordan and Dr. Lauren for stories and hands-on activities. The program meets for 30 minutes on Tuesday evenings, September 8 thru April 26, 2016.

--- "Maples Repertory Theatre is hosting their 5th Annual Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras Fundraiser on Tuesday, February 9th. This event is open to everyone! Keota, a regional band comprised of members from North Missouri, will be performing for the night. They play a unique style of music ranging from blue grass to blues to folk to country. Traditional New Orleans cuisine will be included in the $25 admission cost and consists of gumbo, red beans, rice, cornbread, dessert, and drinks. There will also be a 50/50 game of chance and the winner could leave with a full belly and a full wallet! Award-Winning Poet, Allison Joseph comes to Truman Campus

Award-winning poet, editor and professor Allison Joseph will read from her latest work at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 10 in Baldwin Hall Little Theater, TSU campus, Kirksville, MO. Joseph has published numerous books of poetry. She teaches creative writing at Southern Illinois University and edits the Crab Orchard Review. The event is part of the Clayton B. Ofstad readings series sponsored by the Department of English and Linguistics.

Every child must be accompanied by an adult for the entire 30 minute session of songs, stories and finger-plays. The Bookworm Club for preschoolers ages 3-5 will be on Friday mornings, beginning Sept. 11 at 10:00 - 10:45 AM. Parents of the children who have not yet started kindergarten are welcome to join in stories, songs, and hands-on activities. The 45 minute sessions allow for simple science or art activities.
