Kohlenberg Lyceum Series  will debut its first event of the season with The Golden Dragon Acrobats at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 19 in Baldwin Auditorium.  In 2005, The Golden Dragon Acrobats made their Broadway debut to a sold-out audience at the New Victory Theater. Their Broadway run over the next six weeks received universal critical acclaim from the New York Press. Adair County Young Farmers Truck and Tractor Pull

The Adair County Young Farmers Truck and Tractor Pull will be held Saturday, September 20th at 4:00pm at the NEMO Fairgrounds in Kirksville.  The event features two tracks and two sleds. Admission is $15 for adults, $5 for ages 6-12, and under 5 free. Included in admission is Antique Tractor Show held in memory of Frank Collop, long time Adair County farmer.   The Heartland Task Force will be hosting their Mother-Son Stampede on Thursday, September 25th from 4:00 until 7:00pm at the Truman Farm and Bruce Normile Center Grounds in Kirksville. Enter and park at the University Farm at Boundary and LaHarpe streets. This event is for boys age 5 and up with their mom or another special adult female in their life.
