The Missouri Rural Enterprise & Innovation Center will be hosting a seminar titled “Starting a Business—-The First Steps” on Monday, May 21, 2012 from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Kirskville EDA. This workship will be full of great information for anyone that has a great business idea but needs guidnace on what their next step may be.

If you are interested in attending you must register by May 18th to the Small Business Technology Development Center Missouri Rural Enterprise & Innovation Center by phone at(660) 665-3348. There is a $30 Fee for attending.

Kirksville Industrial Park Designated AT&T Certified Fiber Park

(Kirksville, MO)—John Sondag, AT&T President—Missouri will be in Kirksville on Wednesday, May 30^th to speak with local leaders about the company’s investment in Kirksville and Missouri. Locally, AT&T placed fiber optic cable in the Kirksville Industrial Park, ensuring the best in landline and mobile technology for our businesses and industries. Because of AT&T’s investment, the Kirksville Industrial Park now qualifies as a Certified AT&T Fiber Park, which will help in marketing available space to companies looking to locate or expand in the Kirksville area.

The announcement will take place at the Kirksville Noon Rotary Club meeting held at the Church of the Nazarene, 2302 N. Lincoln, at noon. Immediately following the luncheon, a ribbon cutting will take place at the Industrial Park, 3300 Industrial Court.
