The Kirksville Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Department has made the decision to cancel the Pickers Market they have been planning for several months. The Pickers Market would have been held the 2nd Sunday of each month June thru September in downtown Kirksville. Vendors at the Pickers Market would have been displaying and selling pre-1980 antiques.
The Pickers Market was modeled after a very successful event in an adjoining state with the hope it would bring additional visitors and shoppers to Kirksville. The Chamber and Tourism staff regrets the need to cancel the event, but at this time there is not enough interest from antique dealers and vendors to move the event forward.
